About Provincial Welding Supplies

Provincial Welding Supplies was established in 1989 by JJ O’Sullivan. A trained electrician by trade, JJ worked for a number of years in the electrical industry before making the move into welding sales in the early 1980s. His deep understanding of technical equipment and his passion for providing reliable, high-quality tools led him to set up his own business in 1989.

Over the decades, JJ built a strong reputation for trusted service, expert knowledge, and a commitment to supplying only the best products to customers across the region. In 2025, after JJ’s passing, his family proudly took over the running of the business, continuing the legacy their father started and bringing new energy to the company.
